Man City Won One Sided

Two goals and a possible assist from Phil Foden were enough to see Manchester City demolish Ipswich Town to the tune of 6-0 at Portman Road on Sunday, paving a way back into the top four in the Premier League standings.

The wins crowned City’s victory of 38 points and pushed them fourth in the table, clear on goal difference from Newcastle United. However, they still trailed current league leaders Liverpool by 12 points, while they remained six points adrift of Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.

Foden got the ball rolling in the 27th minute before prepping up Mateo Kovacic to add to City’s goal tally three minutes later, and Foden then scored his second goal in the 42nd minute to send his side into the break up 3-0.

Jeremy Doku made it four with a deflected strike immediately after half-time before setting up Erling Haaland to score, and substitute James McAtee rounded off the slaughter after 69 minutes with a looping header.
