It’s really getting exciting as the next entry into the Jurassic World universe, Jurassic World Rebirth: A Journey into Dinosaurs. The film is actually heading toward universal theatrical release on July 2, 2025, having promised to give yet another turn to the already revived franchise.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, formerly associated with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and written by David Koepp, who also penned the original screenplay of Jurassic Park, the film is set five years after events that took place in Jurassic World Dominion. The story follows a group of experts, headed recently by Zora Bennett (played by Scarlett Johansson), as they head into the heart of a forbidden island to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures.
An Illustrious Cast
The film now features an illustrious hall of fame cast, including:
– Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, a master’s student in covert operations
– Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, paleontologist
– Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s trusted team member
– Rupert Friend as Martin Krebs, a representative in pharmaceutical
– Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Reuben Delgado, a civilian caught in the adventure
A Return to the Franchise’s Roots
Jurassic World Rebirth promises to be a homage of sorts to the very first Jurassic Park through its use of realistic in-your-face grittiness and pitch a cynical lot more. A film that has such an all-star cast, great graphics, and action storylines will certainly make it amazing for the audience credulous enough about the franchise.
