Thunderbolts: The Next Big Marvel Movie

The expansion plans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are at their peak with announcements for films and shows coming one after another. Among the most badly awaited ones is Thunderbolts, a film that will introduce some of the most interesting and intricately drawn characters by Marvel.

For those who are not with the comics too much, the Thunderbolts are a group of antiheroes in the Marvel Comics universe. They were formed by Baron Helmut Zemo, a villainous male-dominated mastermind that recruited morally ambiguous characters to battle the Avengers.

Thunderbolts is under the direction of Jake Schreier, who has credits going back to TV series Robot & Frank. The movie features Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova/Black Widow, as well as other MCU characters such as Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent.

Not much bits are truly known about the storyline, though rumors are that this story finds the Thunderbolts on some mission where they must work together in a way that hones their unique skills. They may face cooperation challenges that would just test, if not their powers, then perhaps their morals.

There are so many reasons why thunderbolt fits their coming together so very well. They are the kind of characters which can be very interesting with their relationships and storylines. This opens the door for more aggressive portrayal of types different from the usual superhero films.

Sure enough, Thunderbolts has staked its claim as the most thrilling and entertaining flick coming up on the MCU slate, with its empire of multidimensional characters, some themes of grey morality, and a storyline filled with action that is going to please any fan. As of now, the Thunderbolts movie is slated for release on May 2, 2025.
