Heavy Rainfall In Brazil

On the 24th of January, São Paulo, which is located in the south-eastern part of Brazil, experienced heavy rainfall, which led to the flooding and extreme weather incidents, that, in turn, resulted in the destruction.

The severe flooding that occurred in Brazil’s state of São Paulo on January 25 resulted in yet another human casualty. With this latest flooding, which brought the total death count of the state to 16 due to heavy rains since December 16, only 1 death has thus far been recorded in this flooding. A band of meteorologists alerts that the stormy weather shall be with them till the end of January.

Based on the reports from the media, 180,000 individuals have faced power cuts whereas certain buildings have been damaged or razed by the heavy rain that caused the flooding.

The affected area is expected to receive a combination of rain showers with scattered thunderstorms for the next 24 hours.
