Here is the complete information, in the team draw and how the draw for the 2024-25 playoffs of the UEFA Champions league works.
On Wednesday that was the last matchday of the league phase of the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League from which the top 24 emerged.
As per the new rules, the top-eight teams will get automatic promotion to the Round of 16, while sides which finish ninth through the twenty-fourth will have to go through two-legged playoffs to get going into the knockouts.
These teams are directly qualifiers for the round of 16 which are the: Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, and Aston Villa.
The other 24th teams are split up into seeded and unseeded teams.
The seeded teams are; Atalanta (9), Borussia Dortmund (10), Real Madrid (11), Bayern Munich (12), AC Milan (13), PSV Eindhoven (14), Paris Saint German (15), Benfica (16).
The unseeded teams are; Monaco [17th], Brest [18th], Feyenoord [19th], Juventus [20th], Celtic [21st], Manchester City [22nd], Sporting Lisbo and [23rd], Club Brugge [24th].
According to the rules of the draw, the seeded teams in the draw will be the “home” team for the second leg.
