India VS Pakistan Head To Head Record In Champions Trophy.

As always, the India vs. Pakistan clash becomes the center of attraction ahead of any big tournament, and if the competition is played in Pakistan, it would indeed be a sight to behold. So, before moving on to the tournament, let’s check the Champions Trophy head-to-head record between these two sides.

In the history of the Champions Trophy, India and Pakistan have faced each other in a total of five matches. Out of these, India has won only two matches, while Pakistan has won three. This is an entirely different story in consideration of other ICC tournaments against India, and they will surely go into the tournament with a lot of confidence.

2009 ICC Champions Trophy (Centurion, South Africa)

In this ICC Champions Trophy assignment against India, Pakistan (302/9) had their dominating share, beating India by 54 runs. Shoaib Malik rubbed the Indian bowlers with his knock of 128 runs. Player of the Match: Shoaib Malik.

2013 ICC Champions Trophy (Birmingham, England)

In this Match India won the toss and elected to field first, and India won that match by 8 wickets with 17 balls remaining (dls method). Player of the Match: Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

2017 ICC Champions Trophy (Birmingham, England)

Sarfaraz Ahmed, the Pakistan skipper, won the toss and elected to field, In the 34th over, Umesh Yadav, who had also picked up the wickets of Amir and Hasan Ali, put the icing on the cake for India as they marched into a big win with Wahab Riaz having earlier been injured and not coming out to bat as Pakistan folded for 164 runs. India won the match by 124 runs by dls method. Player of the Match: Yuvraj Singh.

2017 ICC Champions Trophy (london, England)

Enormous victory for Pakistan by 180 runs in the final. Batting first, Pakistan made 338/4, with Fakhar Zaman scoring 114. India, on the other hand, could only score 158/10. Player of the Match: Fakhar Zaman.
